Boa Vista is known for its wild, pristine landscapes, and we believe it is our responsibility to protect them. When we built Morna’s, we had one main goal: to create a space that complements the environment rather than overpowering it.

Minimalist Design, Maximum Impact

Our restaurant features a clean, simple aesthetic built from raw wood, iron, and concrete. By using essential, durable materials, we ensure our footprint remains minimal, letting the real star—the ocean—take center stage through our large glass windows.

The Power of Local (KM 0)

Sustainability goes beyond architecture; it is the core of our menu. By prioritizing the “Kilometer Zero” approach, we reduce our carbon footprint by sourcing our meat from the local butcher and our vegetables from island gardens. Our wine selection highlights the unique volcanic wines from Chà di Fogo, ensuring we support local artisans across the entire Cape Verdean archipelago.

We invite you to experience a different way of dining: one that respects the planet and celebrates the raw beauty of Boa Vista.
